LEVENHALL
Levenhall Nursing Home is situated in a quiet residential suburb of the popular sea side town of Musselburgh, the 'honest toun'. The home is a conversion of two semi-detached Victorian buildings which are situated very close to Musselburgh racecourse and the Old Musselburgh golf course.
ACCOMMODATION
Levenhall Nursing Home has eighteen single bedrooms and four shared. Each bedroom is individually decorated and fully furnished. Residents are welcome to bring their own items of furniture. The capacity of the home when full is for twenty-six residents.
NURSING AND MEDICAL CARE
Levenhall Nursing Home provides twenty-four hour qualified nursing care. Each resident will be allocated a key worker to give them support with their day to day living. Residents may wish to retain the services of their current GP. If this is not possible, we will assist each resident to find a GP within the area.
CATERING AND SERVICES
All meals and snacks are prepared on the premises using good quality meat, fresh fruit and vegetables. There is always a choice of menu and home baking. Meals are served in our conservatory area. Meals can be served in residents' own rooms. Special dietary needs are catered for.
We employ an activities organiser to provide diversional therapies. Residents are also able to participate in local activities for example; tea dances, local theatrical productions or just browsing around Musselburgh town centre doing personal shopping.
Another service that the home provides is an in-house hairdresser.
All laundry is washed in-house. We would advise that items of clothing are machine washable and name tagged.
Levenhall Nursing Home can provide short term stays for residents, enabling families and carers to have a break.
Visitors are welcome at any time.
